Sometime in September I’d like to get a gathering of golfers to golf a round together. Cost will definitely be under $50.00 and maybe as low as $40.00. It will be different this year as it will not be a huge fundraising tournament but a very low key round of golf to just have fun. We’ll probably have a couple beers after the round to talk about the shots that “almost” were outstanding. With the economy the way it is, I do not want to engage in trying to get sponsorships this year. So, there won’t be any prizes for straightest, or longest drives or a closest to the pin. This will just be to get together to golf and have fun. If someone does hit an ace, I’ll give them a crisp $100.00 bill (sounds like a safe bet to me) !!. If you’d like information on this for yourself or someone you know, just let me know and I’ll get it out to ya.

Lastly for the year, don’t forget to pencil in our annual day at Picha’s Pumpkin Patch on Saturday October 15th from 10:00 – 1:00. Every year a good time is had by all! We’ll again have free pumpkins, the corn maze adventure and a try at the slingshot for everyone.
